Dr. Bill Schmohl, a third generation San Francisco dentist, graduated from UC Berkeley with a Bachelor in Science and then completed his doctoral degree at UCSF Dental School.
He received a Master of Science in orthodontics from Case Western Reserve and became a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics.
Prior to practicing in Marin, he had a progressive orthodontic practice in San Francisco. He is a pioneer in the development of invisible braces and continues to incorporate the newest techniques for minimizing removal of permanent teeth to create beautiful healthy smiles.
He is active in international orthodontic study clubs and is an instructor for the orthodontic residents at University of the Pacific Dental school both in clinic and in the classroom.
Additionally, he promotes improvements in orthodontic research with his generous support of the American Association of Orthodontics Foundation. He also treats pro bono orthodontic cases selected by the Marin County Dental Care Foundation.
He is a member of the American Association of Orthodontics, the Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontics, the American Board of Orthodontics, the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association and the Marin County Dental Society. He actively pursues continuing education to stay abreast of the latest developments in orthodontics.
He enjoys skiing, tennis, golf, hiking and spending time with his family.
