Dr Jasmine Gorton and Dr Bill Schmohl have been practicing as orthodontics in Marin for over 20 years to serve children and adults throughout the San Francisco Bay Area and beyond. Their new location at 900 Larkspur Landing Circle in Larkspur, CA is conveniently located near the 101 freeway, the Larkspur Ferry Terminal, the Marin Airporter, the bike tunnel from San Rafael, the Mark Day School bus stop and the Marin Country Mart. They have established a reputation based on treatment plans which go beyond tooth position to consider effects of orthodontics on the face, growth pattern and airway as well as a thoughtful approach as to the optimal time to begin orthodontics.
Both doctors are directly available to our patients/parents and their entire team provides the highest level of personalized care. Both doctors are committed to continuing education on an international level, which allows them to offer our patients with an unusually wide variety of orthodontic solutions such as Invisalign, Invisalign Teen, Damon Clear Braces, etc. which can make treatment more comfortable and efficient. About Larkspur CA
Larkspur is a city in Marin County, California, with a population of over 12,000 people. It is north of San Francisco close to Mt. Tamalpais and just 2 miles south of our former location in San Rafael. Larkspur shares a police department with the neighboring towns of Corte Madera and San Anselmo and shares an affiliation with Corte Madera known as Twin Cities. Larkspur’s residential area lies within a redwood grove named Madrone Canyon, which intersects with Larkspur’s downtown area.
Larkspur Landing is the site of the former Old Hutchison Gravel Quarry where movie classic Dirty Harry was filmed. Now the site has been converted into the popular, thriving, family friendly open air atmosphere of the Marin Country Mart which draws people from all over the San Francisco Bay Area who come for the Farmer’s Market, great restaurants, exercise classes, live music and shopping. Our office is located in the professional building directly across the street from the Marin Country Mart.
Larkspur Landing is also the location of Golden Gate Transit’s primary ferry terminal for commuter passengers to the San Francisco Ferry Building and the San Francisco downtown Financial District. A pedestrian bridge connects passengers safely from the Marin Country Mart across Sir Francis Drake Blvd to the Larkspur Ferry
Larkspur-Corte Madera School District which serves Larkspur includes Neil Cummins Elementary School, The Cove Elementary School (formerly San Clemente) and Hall Middle School The Tamalpais Union High School District is made up of five high schools that serve the region including Redwood High School in Larkspur. Some people who went to Redwood High School include Robin Williams, Gavin Newsom, Erin Gray, Gabrielle Carteris, David Strathairn, Pete Carroll, and Matt Doyle.
